During the Regina Coeli, Pope Francis repeated a piece of advice he gave to young people in Hungary—not to lose sight of what they want most in life and to nurture that desire. He said it is necessary because it will help them ask difficult questions. The Pope explained this will help them persevere in times of difficulty and not allow themselves to be crushed when problems seem overwhelming.
POPE FRANCIS
Without these questions, we only crush our life, thinking that we should enjoy it as much as possible and we end up living for the day, without a purpose, without a goal. Our homeland, on the other hand, is in heaven; let us not forget the greatness and beauty of that goal!
The Pope asked for a round of applause for the two people recently beatifed: a bishop from Uruguay, Jacinto Vera, and a young Spanish laywoman, María Concepción.
At the end, he sent an affectionate greeting to the new recruits of the Swiss Guard who had taken their oath the day before.
