Colombian Ambassador brings country's famous coffee to Pope Francis

The Colombian Ambassador to the Holy See, Alberto Ospina Carreño, presented his credentials to Pope Francis. Upon receiving them, he joked: 

This is almost a sacrament.

During their meeting, the Ambassador gifted the Pope a painting of the Lord of Miracles. Then, he presented a tray of Juan Valdéz coffee, grown in Colombia.

During the meeting, the Pope reminded him that an ambassador is a bridge of peace in difficult times. He reiterated his desire for total peace in Colombia. The Ambassador described this visit as “a meeting with a very experienced friend.”
