The Nolan Catholic School auditorium in Fort Worth, Texas hosted the international premiere of the documentary, Follow that Bishop. Over 200 people filled the seats to watch the true story of Bishop Fulton Sheen, who won an Emmy Award for his television show.

The documentary uncovers the FBI's files on the bishop at the height of the Cold War. The investigation, however, did not reveal what the government agency had expected. Rather, it highlighted the bishop's everyday service to others. In 2019, the Vatican approved the miracle that advanced his cause for beatification.

Long before there were Youtubers or influencers, there was an American bishop who commanded the screen and dominated TV, with clarity and very good humor.

Bishop Robert Barron has highlighted the impact of Bishop Sheen's TV program on the Catholic Church in the United States, both during his lifetime and today.

He was someone who had the courage and the panache and the capacity to use what in his time were the new media.

The Rome Reports documentary, Follow that Bishop, will premiere on TV channels worldwide in both English and Spanish. The Diocese of Fort Worth sponsored the production and premiere in the U.S. with the collaboration of Reel Zeal.
