Exorcists Against Satan is a new book that recounts the stories of numerous exorcisms. Italian author Fabio Marchese Ragona was motivated to write the book after seeing the effects of the COVID pandemic on peoples' faith.

We lived through a very difficult time with the pandemic lockdown, especially here in Italy. And during lockdown, many people lost their faith.
I decided to reflect on the fact that so many people were reacquainted with the faith but so many have unfortunately encountered the devil instead. And now I have told so many stories of possession and also stories of suffering.
The book also includes an interview with Pope Francis where he discusses his experience with exorcisms and the Devil. Ragona says the Pope warned that the Devil tries to attack everyone and create divisions, even in the Church.

He said, the Devil attacks everyone. The Devil specifically attacks those at the top of the hierarchy, so even the Pope faces attacks by the Devil. I have been attacked by the Devil too. Jesus was also tempted by the Devil, right? It's very painful, he said. But with prayer, he runs away.
But Ragona explains his book is not meant to be one of despair and gloom. He says he wants to give people hope and challenge everyone to be prepared against the Devil's attacks.

Luckily, every story that is told always ends with the victory of good over evil. This is certain.
They are stories that serve to open people's eyes and to say: “Be careful. Don't go to wise men. Don't go to fortune tellers; don't do séances.”
Ragona says it was important to write a book that could help people avoid activities that lead to demonic possession. But he also wants to give readers hope that evil does not have the last say.
