Pope Francis welcomed former Colombian President and 2016 Nobel Peace Prize winner Juan Manuel Santos. He thanked the Pope for his visit to the country in 2017 and his support for the peace accords. Santos presented him with a pen designed by one of his cabinet members.

-How nice!

-And with this, we sign the peace agreement.

They also signed some books about the country's internal war that both men pledged to end.

Pope Francis gave Santos a statue of St. Martin of Tours cutting off his cape to give to a poor man and some of his main writings. As they said goodbye, the Pope spoke to him about his knee.

-And how's it going?

-It's much better. I can already walk.

Pope Francis said goodbye to the former president and his entourage, asking for their prayers.
