Pope Francis meets with the King of Bahrain, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister together with other members of the Royal Household at the Sakhir Royal Palace.
During their private meeting, the Pope is joined by the Cardinal Secretary of State, the Apostolic Nuncio and other Vatican officials.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and some family members accompany Pope Francis to the palace courtyard for the welcoming ceremony and the meeting with authorities and the diplomatic corps.
