The Vatican has released a video for Pope Francis' prayer intention for the month of November: For children who suffer.
The Pope said that there are millions of children who live in conditions “very similar to slavery.” Each abandoned child on the margins of society is a “cry that raises up to God,” he continued, “and shames the system that we adults have built.”
Pope Francis ended by praying that children who are homeless, orphans, and victims of war “may be guaranteed access to education” and “have the opportunity to experience family affection.”
