After the Pope's General Audience, he met with the creators of a new film telling the life story of Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
Holy Father, this is our film on Mother Teresa. Thank you for your beautiful letter.
The film's director.
Hello Holy Father, a pleasure. We would be very grateful if you could sign this poster. Thank you.
Ahead of the screening of “Mother Teresa: No Greater Love” in the Vatican's historic Filmoteca movie theater, Pope Francis wrote a letter to the movie's producer, expressing his desire that Mother Teresa's story reach new audiences.

He speaks about reaching new generations with this film and the witness of Jesus Christ. Mother Teresa was laser-focused on Jesus Christ, so I think that is really his belief on the film.
The movie premiered in Rome before members of the Missionaries of Charity, cardinals, and many who personally knew and worked alongside Mother Teresa.
CARD. JAMES HARVEY
I had the privilege of meeting Mother Teresa for the first time in 1981 or 1982 in the Dominican Republic
It's one of the fifteen or twenty minutes most memorable of my life, and I find it beautiful to be able to recall this as I was watching the film and my own reactions to it.

The relationship with God comes through in a very subtle way that kind of could help you to really question yourself: “what is your relationship with God, really?” Because if it is expressed in love for my neighbor, it has an effect.
After its premiere week in Rome, “Mother Teresa: No Greater Love,” will make its way into U.S. theaters in early October.
