On Wednesday Pope Francis will meet with Albert II, prince of Monaco, and his wife Charlene.
The couple had met with the Pope once before in 2016, and Charlene dressed in white as is protocol in the Vatican for Catholic queens and princesses visiting the pope.
Then, Pope Francis had gifted them a medal of St. Martin giving his cloak to the poor.
Just last October Prince Albert was given the insignia of Knight of the Collar of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre by Cardinal Fernando Filoni, grand master of the order, for supporting the presence of Christians in the Holy Land.
