The Holy Father recieves gifts from all over the world. Each Wednesay following the General Audience in St. Peter's Square, believers try to give Pope Francis gifts. This week, Nicholas Kemdi Ihenacho was there with his family and a rosary for the Pope, but not just any rosary.

I have a sample of the rosary given. This kind of rosary for the Holy Father. This is the Holy Family, and this is our Lord. So, it's a nice design.

We have many rosaries here.
In reality, they have not only come to the Vatican with a rosary, but above all, a story.
NICHOLAS KEMDI IHENACHO
We teach young adults how to make rosaries (with special needs) with a disability. Those with down syndrome, autism, we teach them how to make rosaries. It's called Rosary Makers of America. So, they make all the rosaries that we produce. They made this rosary for the Holy Father.
Through great faith and donations, the family created their own organization.
NICHOLAS KEMDI IHENACHO
For him, our son, with down syndrome, after high school they cannot get a job anywhere else. So we established this non-profit for them to stay busy and make rosaries for our Lady and our Lord. And also to pray, and make friends.
And although the intention is always to deliver the gift by hand, the Pope is a Head of State and security protocol almost always takes precedence.
BRIDGET I. IHENACHO
He has not seen it yet. We just gave it to the people.
NICHOLAS KEMDI IHENACHO
Attendants to give to him.
