Ronaldinho, Dani Alves and Maxi Rodríguez presented a friendly soccer match for peace with Pope Francis. It will be held on October 10 in Rome.
The players are joining together with Scholas, a worldwide network of schools, to support Pope Francis' call for peace, unity and encounter.
They gave the Pope the captain's jersey with the number 10.
The players will put aside their differences to promote peace and set an example for those who look up to them. Pope Francis also blessed the olive tree and ball that will be used in the game for peace at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.
