In the Stations of the Cross celebrated at the Colosseum in Rome, at the thirteenth station, commemorating the death of Christ on the cross, the organizers asked for a moment of prayerful silence for peace. It is a simple gesture that had not always happened in other Stations of the Cross which Pope Francis celebrated.
At the end of the Stations of the Cross, the Pope made a prayer asking for peace, forgiveness and the end of weapons.
