This is the official website for the Pope's trip to Malta, which is scheduled for April 2 and 3.
The official schedule for the trip, which will begin on Saturday, April 2, is now public.
The Pope will arrive on the island at 10 a.m. After his official meetings, he will take a catamaran boat to the island of Gozo, where he will participate in a prayer service.
On Sunday, the Pope will pray at the Grotto of St. Paul, which commemorates the apostle's shipwreck. There, the Pope will also visit a shelter for migrants. Malta receives more migrants than most Mediterranean countries.
It will be the fourth time a pope travels to the country. John Paul II visited Malta twice, and Benedict XVI, once.
