As preparations for the Jubilee Year of 2025 continue, the Vatican is inviting anyone interested to participate in an art competition to choose the Holy Year's official logo.
Participants are expected to draw inspiration from the motto “pilgrims of hope.” The Pontifical Council coordinating the event says the logo should communicate this message of hope in an immediate and fitting way.
Contestants will have until May 20 to submit their work, by following the instructions on the Jubilee website.
Anything can happen. The logo for the Jubilee of the year 2000 was designed by a 22-year-old woman.
And the logo for World Youth Day Lisbon 2023, by a 24-year-old woman.
