Mahmoud Talaat, the new ambassador of Egypt to the Holy See, presented his credential letter to Pope Francis.
He was accompanied by his wife. The ambassador gave the Pope this book, which describes the mummification process used in Ancient Egypt.
It was a cordial meeting between Pope Francis and the new representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
