This is Mariana Yarritú and Brenda Treviño's first book about Advent. It's called “Adviento de la mano de San José” (Advent from St. Joseph's hand). It can be downloaded for free from the book's website: uncorazonquearde.com.

With the end of the Year of St. Joseph in sight, they chose to focus the book on him.

“To see this Advent journey through St. Joseph's eyes, to see it from his perspective. What did he feel? How did he experience it? What was happening in St. Joseph's heart?”

The Mexican authors want their book to be a formative guide for Catholics, so that they can understand and adopt St. Joseph's virtues.

“Adviento de la mano de San José”
“He gave the most important thing, which is his heart. His heart, his time and his love. And that's the key: to remember that this Christmas isn't about giving material gifts, but of giving one's heart, like St. Joseph did.”

“Un Corazon que Arde” (A heart that burns) is the project these women launched in 2018. It began as a digital evangelization initiative, and this Christmas, the authors recommend that Catholics use this e-book to reflect on the mysteries of God.
