Pablo Sanz is a Physical Education teacher and professional soccer player, but that's not all. He also uses music to share his faith, and has just released a song for the closing of the year of St. Joseph, one of his models.

For Pablo Sanz, it is easy to see himself reflected in St. Joseph because there is so little written about him in the Gospels, so he can complete the picture of his life with his imagination. He likes to think that, in his everyday life, St. Joseph did the same things as him.
Although he has only been producing music for three years, Pablo Sanz has been writing songs since he was sixteen. This one, dedicated to St. Joseph, was recorded with the help of Espíritu Santo Productions, a Christian music production company that organized a contest for the year of Saint Joseph, which he eventually won.
He says that the best way to pray is when he is alone with his guitar in a chapel.

It's my way of communicating and almost translating myself. “Hey, Pablo, what are you living out, what's going on in your life?” And it's those moments when I start to write, when something special happens, or I have an experience, that I need to stop and put words to it. That's where the songs come from. And my thinking is, if it helps me or if it comes from my experience I'm sure it can help others.
Pablo Sanz leads a very normal life and writes about what happens to him. His experience as a professional soccer player, his work as a teacher, his friends, and his family...

He uses music to be a witness wherever he goes. Whether with his professional soccer team, the school where he teaches, with friends, or even when meeting someone for the first time.

“I find that very different people are really interested and want to listen to my music simply because I sing. They say, “Oh, you sing? What songs do you have?” And they hear a message that they might not be willing to listen to in the middle of a soccer game.”
With his song 'José', Pablo Sanz wants to send a very clear message. Whoever wants to be a saint without knowing how, does not have to do extraordinary things—it's enough to imitate a simple and generous person like St. Joseph.
