A motorcade escorted President Joe Biden to the Vatican Apostolic Palace on Friday morning for his private meeting with the Pope.
The President and First Lady Jill Biden were welcomed at the St. Damaso Courtyard before being escorted into the building. It is the first time Joe Biden meets with Pope Francis as President of the United States.
