The Pope's agenda for the upcoming week is full of meetings with heads of state who will be in Rome to participate in the G20 Summit from October 30-31.
On Friday, Pope Francis will meet with U.S. President Joe Biden. It will be the first meeting between the two since Biden was elected president.
But it won't be the Pope's only political meeting of the week.
On Monday he will meet with the president of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier. It will be the Pope's second meeting with a senior German official in less than a month. In early October, Angela Merkel visited the Vatican to say goodbye to the Pope at the end of her tenure as chancellor of Germany.
Although it hasn't been officially announced, it is also likely Pope Francis will also meet with the president of South Korea, Moon Jae-in, who is Catholic.
