Pope Francis continues to show signs of his improving health condition.

Before his General Audience the Pope quickly walked to his seat without any assistance to begin his catechesis.

During the Audience, the Pope said that although God loves all people, baptism creates a special relationship with God that transcends race or social class. That's why he urged Christians to remember the date on which they received the sacrament.

POPE FRANCIS
'Don't forget it. When you return home, ask: when was I baptized? When was I baptized? And always keep that date in mind.'

The Pope shared a message with the people of Poland ahead of the beatification of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, a hero of Poland's resistance against communism and a close friend of Pope John Paul II.

POPE FRANCIS
'Speaking to Cardinal Wyszyński, Saint John Paul II made a historic statement: There would not be a Polish pope on the Seat of Peter if it were not for your faith, which was not shaken through prison and suffering, your heroic hope, and your trust in the Mother of the Church until the end.” God bless Poland. May your great saints and blesseds sustain you.'

The Pope offered a special greeting for Ethiopia, since September 11 marks their new year. He prayed for peace in the region scarred by violence and armed conflicts.

POPE FRANCIS
'I extend my warmest and most heartfelt greetings to the people of Ethiopia, especially to those who are suffering due to the ongoing conflict and the grave humanitarian situation it has created. May this be a time of fraternity and solidarity in which we listen to the shared desire for peace.'

Pope Francis also prayed for Cuba on the feast day of its patron saint, Our Lady of Charity of El Cobre. The Pope visited the sanctuary dedicated to the image in 2015.
