A group of one hundred homeless people and refugees were invited to the Vatican for the screening of a documentary on Pope Francis.
After the movie, the attendees were treated to a visit by the Pope himself.
Pope Francis shared some kind words with them and happily posed for pictures in the atrium of the Paul VI Audience Hall.
Among those present were some twenty Afghan refugees who arrived in Italy in recent weeks.
After meeting the Pope, the group received food packages from the event's organizers to mark the end of an unforgettable day.
