Live today. That’s the message of the latest single by the Eucharistic Messenger religious sisters from Colombia. With the amount of uncertainty and worry present in the world, they hope their song can be a reminder that God is always with us, and to focus on the now.

“We often get stuck in our past and want to change things that could have gone better for us. And we also often think about the future: What will happen? How will this go? How can we do this? And we forget to live today.”
“Today I'll see what is around me with your eyes, I will take care of your love that you have trusted me with.”
After witnessing the effects of the lockdown and the challenges faced by healthcare workers during the pandemic, the sisters say they were inspired to reach the souls of people in need of God.

“That was truly an inspiration for us to share this message from our hearts with the souls of many others, to tell them that the important thing is to live today and to live it well and to live it with God.”
Through music, they looked to share their message of hope with children, who they say are the future of the Church.

“We feel strongly called to share our message with the youth and children too, because they are the hope of the world. They are the seeds that give hope to our mother Church, so we want to reach these young people and of course they like music.”
“Live Today” is a joyful reminder that God is always with us even in difficult moments, and to seek His presence in the here and now.
