“For me it summarizes the whole Christian message that, despite our sins, despite all of the struggles we may face, despite the tragedies of human history and the deep suffering we may endure, love always wins, love always triumphs.”
Bishop Hying's book aims to provide short and accessible insights into applying the teachings of the Faith to everyday life with reflections on topics such as “the Cross of Marriage,” and “What Lent is All About.”

“The point of a homily or reflection is to take some sort of human experience that will help someone understand the good news of the Gospel, and that's really what Jesus did in the parable. He took ordinary things which people could relate to and used that as an analogy to explain the Kingdom of God and to articulate his mission and his love for them.”
After serving as a pastor in cities and suburbs, stateside and overseas, Bishop Hying says the many ways of experiencing God's love is representative of its enduring power.

“In all of that you see the beautiful variety of the Church, the grace of God operative in so many people's lives, and you realize that the more varied that experience is, the essence of its commonality becomes even more profound.'
His book inspires readers to bring their relationship with Christ into the center of their daily lives, and to experience a love that never fails.
