Pope Francis has called the world's families to Rome. He wants to meet with them from June 22 to June 26, 2022. But he's already announced that, because of the pandemic, the next World Meeting of Families will be different than usual.
POPE FRANCIS
'In the same days, each diocese can become the focal point for a local meeting for its families and communities.”
That means Rome will host a world conference, a vigil with the Pope and families and a closing Mass. And those who can't travel to Rome don't have to limit themselves to following the events on television. Instead, they can participate in similar events in their own city.
They can even use the Meeting's logo and theme, which is “Family love: A vocation and a path to holiness.”
