Fran Correa isn’t even 30 years old, but she already has a lot of experiences to share.

“My life has been very complex since I was a little girl. But God has allowed me to get back on my feet, to live again, to find the good in my life and heal my wounds.”
Her story is woven into the lyrics of “Contigo” (With You), an uplifting song about her friendship with Jesus.

“When a friend calls us because he wants to see us, we often say, ‘No, no, no, I want to be alone. I need my space'. And when God wants to say to us, ‘I’m here, tell me what’s going on, I want to help,’ we often say, ‘No, no, I don’t want to have anything to do with God because God does nothing.’”
Fran Correa has had a wide-ranging musical career. She was part of the Alfareros band, with whom she won a Latin Grammy. But she wasn’t sure if she should release this album. For her, it’s not just about the music.

“The most important thing for me on this journey is to be with God. And if music allows me to be closer to Him, fantastic! But if I start to lose sight of this goal, then I have to stop for a moment and say, ‘No, this isn’t helping me.’”
Fran Correa certainly hopes her album, “Contigo,” will do as its title says and help listeners grow closer to God.
