The Vatican has published a decree on “transparency, control and competition in the procedures for awarding public contracts of the Holy See and Vatican City State.”
The procedures were first modified in May 2020. This decree states that economic entities that have been investigated for participating in organized crime, terrorism, or child labor, will be excluded from any procedure for the awarding of public contracts.
