At the general audience this Wednesday, Pope Francis stopped to greet Lebanese climate activist Michael Haddad. Now 40 years old, he has been in a wheelchair since he was six due to a jet ski accident that left 75% of his body paralyzed.

Michael is a professional athlete and a UN Goodwill Ambassador for Climate Action. When he met the Pope he told him about his next goal planned for early next year: to walk over 60 miles across the North Pole with the help of an experimental exoskeleton.
