Maxi Larghi is a Catholic singer-songwriter from Argentina. His aim is to use music to help people pray, and to communicate what God's love is all about. His singing and his songs draw from his own authentic experiences.

“I don't want to say something right just because it's right, if I don't really believe it. I allow myself to question, to search for answers, and this means that my music accompanies my faith journey.”
Maxi's projects include a song about persecuted Christians in the Middle East, called “I am a Nazarene”. Being able to share the stories of people who are often forgotten is a privilege, he says.

“The most beautiful part of this mission, this apostolate, is being able to see the Church in a deeper way, while I'm on trips and tours. I've been blessed to sing in very small, remote communities that are very hard to reach by car, where there aren't any priests or where priests rarely go to celebrate Mass.”
Right now, Maxi Larghi is working on a project intended to show the strength, and surprises, that communities on the periphery have in store.

“I feel very inspired by Pope Francis' message to go out to the peripheries. So I'm working on songs that we'll record next year, God willing. They'll be songs that reflect my own faith, and that can create a bridge, to connect with another person, to unite different people, with different faiths and beliefs.”
Maxi Larghi began his professional life as a lawyer. For the past eight years he's been living out his mission of evangelizing through music. He hopes to continue using his talents in the service of the most just causes.
