On Friday, Pope Francis concludes his spiritual exercises. This year because of the pandemic, he did not join the rest of the Curia at the usual retreat house. Instead, everyone completed the exercises individually at home. Pope Francis was the first. He did not attend any public nor official meetings.
Nor did the pope participate in the Lenten reflection given by the Pontifical House Preacher, Card. Raniero Cantalamessa.

As a guide to help cardinals and bishops of the Curia complete the spiritual exercises at home, the pope sent them a book called “Abbi a cuore il Signore” (something like give the Lord importance).
In an case, the pope is expected to pray the Angelus from the window of the pontifical apartments on Sunday. On Wednesday he will hold the usual General Audience, and on Friday, March 5, board a plane to Iraq.
