The Fruits of Medjugorje project is a new initiative to compile and share video testimonials of people who have been impacted by visits to Medjugorje. In 2019, Pope Francis authorized pilgrimages to the site, calling it spiritually fruitful.

“There are people who go there and convert, people that find God, whose lives change. And this is not thanks to a magic wand, this is a spiritual and pastoral fact that cannot be denied.”

The video series includes the testimony of Sofia Gamiz, who recounts how her experience going to confession at Medjugorje after 20 years changed her life.

“There are no words to describe that sensation, the inner as well as physical, of complete plenitude, of complete happiness.”

Another testimony is given by Fr. Johannes Rotharmel, who began to discern a religious vocation while visiting the site.

“In Medjugorje, people are able to come up to God, to have an encounter with God, to feel close to God, to allow His presence. This happens in a totally impossible way and for me that is Our Lady operating here in Medjugorje.”

Testimonies come from countries like Argentina, Austria, Mexico, Germany, Nigeria, Poland and the United States, but not only.

There are stories of physical and spiritual healing, stories of couples who received the gift of children, vocation stories and more, all centered around Medjugorje, a place of conversion.

The videos are accessible on the Fruits of Medjugorje YouTube channel.
