Georg Gänswein has left the hospital and is now at home. As prefect of the Pontifical Household and Benedict XVI's secretary, he will be under observation for a while, but he is better and recovering. The German branch of “Catholic News Agency” last Sept. 11 reported that Georg Gänswein, 64, had been hospitalized because of kidney problems.
Since he's been responding well to treatment, doctors from the Campus Biomedico in Rome have authorized him to return home.
