Security measures set in place because of COVID-19 have affected the official presentation of “The Passion of Jesus: A medical investigation,” Rome Reports' latest documentary. The cultural association of Santander, in Spain, has welcomed this work, which reveals previously unknown details about the crucifixion that changed history.

Documentary Director
“We have many archaeological and historical elements. We have pagan testimonies, even from pagan sources, that give us information about Christ's death.”
Thanks to contributions from forensic dermatologists and historical experts, the documentary debunks some traditional representations of the crucifixion, like the image of the nails that pierce Jesus.

Forensic Doctor in Turin, Italy
“The nails aren't in the hands, but rather, in the wrists. Experiments have shown that this is the case because the hands could not possibly support the weight of the entire body.”
“The Passion of Jesus: A medical investigation” has a duration of 45 minutes and is available on the Rome Reports Premium platform. The docum entary was sponsored by SOMOS Community Care, and its presentation at Santander was organized by the Catholic Association of Propagandists.
