As per tradition, Pope Francis will take his vacation in July. That means he will interrupt most of his meetings, which are fewer due to the coronavirus anyway. Nonetheless, he chooses to stay in Rome at home.
He mentioned his vacation during his last General Audience.
POPE FRANCIS
We're entering into the vacation period. Despite all the security measures related to the risk of coronavirus contagion, may it be a time of peaceful rest, of enjoying the beauty of creation and of strengthening ties between people and God.
The only events Pope Francis will continue to hold are the Angelus on Sundays. He could also participate in a special meeting with migrants on July 8, the anniversary of his first trip as pope, to visit the island of Lampedusa.
