Before his daily Mass, Pope Francis prayed for an increase of love within families during these difficult times.

Today is World Day of Families. Let us pray for families so the Spirit of the Lord—the Spirit of love, respect and freedom—grows within families.
The Vatican had planned to celebrate the World Meeting of Families in Rome in June 2021. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event has been postponed to June 2022.
