These two trucks full of medical supplies arrived to the Vatican on Friday. They're part of a donation from Poland to the Holy See.

“All the stuff has been given to the [almoner], Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, who will give it, not only to those outside Vatican City, but also to those who work here. [This includes] the Swiss Guard and the Gendarmerie. That, I think, is a very symbolic day for us, [of] solidarity between Poland and the Holy See.”
The donation was the result of a phone conversation between the president of Poland, Andrzej Duda, and Pope Francis.
It's a symbolic gesture which coincides with the 100th anniversary of the birth of John Paul II, on May 18.

Among the donated material are masks, hand-sanitizer and other products to slow down the spread of the coronavirus.
