Pope Francis once again asked to pray for artists. On April 27, he had encouraged looking for inspiration in their creativity in facing the pandemic. On this occasion, he focused on a different aspect.

Yesterday I received a letter from a group of artists. They thanked me for the prayer we offered for them. I would like to ask the Lord to bless them because through artists we understand beauty, and without beauty we cannot understand the Gospel. Let us pray again for artists.
Pope Francis expressed the same idea with circus artists in the Vatican, before the pandemic broke out.
