“First of all, I want to thank everyone who is with us today. It will be like this: Javier is going to speak for about 10-15 minutes, and then we will go to the questions part.”
JAVIER MARTÍNEZ-BROCAL

“How is COVID-19 affecting the Vatican and, above all, how will it affect the future. We are going to make a little compilation of what has happened in this month and a half, which seems eternal to us.”
In the 45-minute meeting, the steps taken by the Vatican since the outbreak of the pandemic were reconstructed. The options being considered to restore normality were reviewed: from opening the Vatican Museums, to Masses in St. Peter's Basilica, the General Audiences and papal trips.
