At his General Audience, live-streamed from the library of the Apostolic Palace, Pope Francis reflected on Christ's Passion. He said Easter reveals that God can make everything good.
POPE FRANCIS
With Him, we can truly trust that everything will be alright. This is not simply an illusion, because the Death and Resurrection of Jesus are not an illusion. They are true.
He spoke of the importance of the domestic liturgy, especially now that people are constrained to observe Holy Week celebrations from home.
POPE FRANCIS
In these days, with everyone in quarantine, at home, locked up, let us pick up two things. [One is] the crucifix, to gaze at. Let us also open the Gospel. This will be for us a great domestic liturgy, because we cannot go to church these days.
The pope then sent a special greeting to university students virtually participating in UNIV 2020, a yearly international event for dialogue and debate usually held in Rome on Holy Week.
