Before beginning his daily Mass, the pope asked for prayers for those who work in the media, who transmit news of this crisis.
POPE FRANCIS
'Today I would like us to pray for those who work in the media, whose work is to communicate, today, so people do not feel so isolated. For the education of children, for information, to help [everyone] endure this lockdown period.”
In his most recent annual message to journalists, published on Jan. 24, Pope Francis said, 'by patching together bits of unverified information, repeating banal and deceptively persuasive arguments, sending strident and hateful messages, we do not help weave human history, but instead strip others of their dignity.'
