In these times of quarantine amid the pandemic, some priests have come up with creative ways to bring people hope.

These Italian priests celebrated Mass from a rooftop terrace, while the faithful participated from their own windows or the public spaces surrounding the building.

Meanwhile, this group of neighbors released this giant rosary made of balloons into the air, asking the Blessed Mother for an end to the pandemic.

In Spain, the bells of the Cathedral of Guadix could be heard as the bishop went up to the bell tower to bless the city with the Blessed Sacrament

Friar José María, from the religious community, Servants of the Holy Eucharist and of the Blessed Virgin Mary, climbed to the rooftop to bless the city of Cordoba, in southern Spain.

In Venezuela, Fr. Honegger Molina went out into the streets of Caracas carrying an image of Our Lady of Coromoto. Neighbors joined in prayer from their balconies. Some even went out into the streets to kneel in prayer and ask God to contain the spread of the virus.

Priests from around the world have promoted prayer and Mass on social media. A few unlucky ones accidentally activated filters during their broadcasts, bringing some laughter in these difficult times.

The isolation many countries are facing shouldn't result in a complete loss of a sense of humor and joy. These nuns apparently understand this very well.

I will resist, to keep on living / I will bear the blows and never give up / Though my dreams may be shattered / I will resist, I will resist.
