The Prefecture of the Papal Household announced on its website that the pope will celebrate Holy Week liturgies 'without the physical presence of the faithful.'
It also announced that until Easter Sunday, on April 12, the Angelus and General Audiences will be streamed live from the pope's library, not from the window of the apostolic palace.
These will also be closed to pilgrims.
