The Vatican is following Italian legislation which asks for limited crowds to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Therefore, tomorrow the Angelus will be led from the Apostolic Palace library and the Vatican will broadcast it live by satellite online.
Wednesday’s General Audience will also follow this scheme.
Pope Francis has also suspended the presence of pilgrims at his daily morning Mass at Casa Santa Marta. These days he is celebrating the Mass alone.
