For the past 20 years, Victoria Robinson has been a voice for the voiceless, standing up for the unborn inside the womb, who are threatened by the possibility of abortion. Yet, she says her story didn't begin this way.

“I unfortunately chose abortion 32 years ago, and for 13 years of my life after I had the abortion, after being told it wasn't a baby, it was a blob of tissue, a clump of cells, there was nothing really there, I didn't understand why I kept going to this guilt and shame. Finally, I went to the Pregnancy Resource Center in the town I lived in, and shared with the woman there that I needed help, because I couldn't live that way anymore. She got me into post-abortion counseling. It changed my life changed my life. It helped me realize that God forgives all sin.”

Amidst her healing and grieving process, she became the CEO of three pregnancy centers, seeking to dissuade women from the single choice that wrecked her life. She now runs Save the Storks, providing buses and ultrasounds to women outside of abortion clinics around the United States.

Victoria has spoken with countless women and says there is a common emotion in them all – fear.

“It's desperation. It's their fear. They're terrified. They don't know what to do. What they need is someone to walk alongside them and say, you don't have to choose abortion. There are other options. There's adoption, there's parenting, and there are resources available for them to help them really tip if they decide to parent.”

Victoria was already a mother of two girls when she had her abortion, abandoned by the girls' father. She said her new boyfriend and unborn baby's father, was one who encouraged her to have the abortion.

“I knew the outcome of a pregnancy, but at six weeks pregnant, you don't feel pregnant, you don't look pregnant. When someone looks at you and says, 'Honey, it'd be selfish to bring another child in the world. You can barely take care of the two you have and there's nothing there anyway, it's like getting a tooth pulled.”

She didn't realize the child in her womb was a baby until she was pregnant again and saw an ultrasound at eight weeks, around the same time she had the previous abortion. With hard evidence, Victoria realized it was a baby, her baby, and there was a heartbeat.

“I found healing through post-abortion counseling through a pregnancy Resource Center, in where I live, and it changed my life because it showed me that God loves me. God forgave me, and that there is life after abortion.”

Through sharing her testimony, and the ultrasounds provided on the Save the Storks buses, she claims thousands of mothers have reconsidered life. For Victoria, it similarly was a simple heartbeat on the ultrasound that kick-started her life on the track to healing.
