During the Angelus on the last Sunday of Advent, Pope Francis reflected on St. Joseph. He said he is “a person apparently in second place, but whose attitude contains the entirety of Christian wisdom.”
POPE FRANCIS
“The example of this good, meek and wise man teaches us to lift up our gaze and look beyond, to trust in God's surprising logic, which far from small and large calculations, it consists in openness toward new horizons, toward Christ and His Word.”
Precisely on these final days of preparation for Christmas, the pope asked Christians to follow St. Joseph's example to be able to listen to Jesus.
He also wished for everyone's Christmas to be a time of fraternity, growth in the faith and of actions of solidarity toward those in need.
