The Renault group gave Pope Francis a new popemobile. It's a Dacia Duster adapted to the pontiff's needs. It has five seats and enough space to greet pilgrims from the square.
Pope Francis greeted the delegation who gifted it to him with affection. Now, all that remains is to see if he uses this Romanian car.
During events in the Vatican, he usually prefers open models. This allows him to let children climb into the car for a ride around the square.
The last car he was gifted with was this one. It's not quite big enough for companions, but it is the most ecological car he's received to date. That's because it's an electric model.
