Matteo Bruni will be the new spokesman of the Holy See.
His predecessor in office, Alessandro Gisotti, had been appointed on a provisional basis after Greg Burke and Paloma García Ovejero resigned at the end of December 2018.
Matteo Bruni has been working in the Vatican Press Room for years. He's been in charge of organizing the logistics of papal trips and perfectly understands the internal functioning of communication in the Holy See.
