In his daily homily at Casa Santa Marta, Pope Francis denounced the hypocrisy of some Christians. He particularly condemned those who exploit their workers.
POPE FRANCIS
“They send their workers home at the beginning of the summer, only to then take them back at the end. This means their workers are not entitled to a pension, they are not entitled to move on. Many of those who exploit these people call themselves Catholics. They go to Mass on Sundays, but they still do this. This is a mortal sin!”
The pope concluded by inviting Christians to ask God for the strength to be humble and not vain.
