Ali Bin Samikh al-Marri is the chairman of the National Committee of Human Rights in Qatar. Shortly after greeting the pope, he gave him this book as a gift.

“This is a call for the Human Rights.”

He represents the committee in charge of promoting Human Rights and evaluating how they are respected in Qatar.

The visit is made a few days before Pope Francis' next trip to rival country, United Arab Emirates. He will visit the Arabian Peninsula to participate in an inter-religious meeting that is expected to help strengthen relations between Islam and the Catholic Church.
