In his Sunday Angelus Pope Francis reflected on Jesus' miracle of changing water into wine at the Wedding at Cana. He said during times of difficulty one should turn to Our Lady for help.

POPE FRANCIS
“When we often feel anxiety and anguish, when we lack joy, go to Our Lady and say: 'We have no wine. The wine is finished: look at how I am; look at my heart, look at my soul.' Tell the Blessed Mother and she will go to Jesus and say: 'Look at this, look at this: they have no wine.' And then, she will come back to us and say to us, 'Do whatever He tells you.'”

After the Angelus prayer, the pope expressed his sorrow over the terrorist attack in Colombia last Thursday at the National Police College. He also lamented and asked for prayers for the 170 victims who were shipwrecked in the Mediterranean.

POPE FRANCIS
“They were looking for a future for their lives. Victims, perhaps, of human traffickers. We pray for them and for those responsible for what has happened.”

Pope Francis reminded everyone present that this week he is off to Panama to celebrate World Youth Day. He took this opportunity to introduce his new app “Click to Pray” where he will insert all his intentions and prayer requests for the Church's mission.

POPE FRANCIS
“I invite especially young people to download the App 'Click to Pray,' to continue to pray together with me the Rosary for peace, particularly during the World Youth Day in Panama.”

The pope added that this week will see the publication of his Message for the World Day of Social Communications, which offers a “reflection on the network communities and the human community.”

He stressed the importance of the internet and media in being a place to stay in touch, share values and projects, as well as express the desire to cultivate communities.
