Starting 22 Jan., at least 300,000 young people from all over the world will participate in the World Youth Day in Panama. As always, there will be no shortage of music.
The organization has brought together more than 200 artists from 46 countries. Among them, these eight Latin singers and bands.

The motto for this WYD is “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be it done unto me according to thy word.”

Dominican Kairy Marquez is convinced of the value of expressing faith through music, not just at home or in parishes. In addition to singing her prayers, she will share her adventures at WYD on a YouTube channel.
The energy and joy of the Mexican band Kayrós have already allowed them to participate in two WYDs. However, they have reserved the release of their first full album in Panama.
Peruvian singer Luis Enrique Ascoy has shared the stage with musicians from all over the world. During this WYD, for the first time, he will perform alongside his son and daughter Luis Enrique Jr and María Belén. He hopes this performance will transmit a message about the beauty of family life.
Rock could not be missing from this event. The music band Tesalonica will be performing. For one of its members it will not be his first WYD, because he participated in Toronto, 2002. However, as a band, it is the first time that the four will act. They have many surprises and challenges of talking about God with their particular style.
As WYD is an international meeting, artists from all continents will participate. The final list will be released in a few days.
